The top 5 best value campsites in France
Have you got the urge to go camping somewhere a bit warmer this Autumn? We know that a lot of the OLPRO community love to go camping in France, and it’s easy to see why when the country is filled with sun-kissed beaches, picturesque mountain ranges and incredibly scenic campsite locations.
So we’ve decided to take to TripAdvisor to highlight which campsites are currently ranking as the best value campsites in France, and some of the results are incredible!
Espace Blue Océan
Situated in Ondres, the Espace Blue Océan features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and guests also have direct access to the beach via a woodland trail.
The campsite does offer a barbecue, however, guests can also enjoy a meal at the in-house restaurant, which serves a variety of French dishes.
You can go cycling and hiking at nearby trails, or attend the local surfing school or circus school. And if all of that exercising (and clowning around) has got you tired then you do have a chance to kick back and relax at a shared lounge.
The nearest airport is Biarritz - Anglet - Bayonne Airport, 14.3 miles from the property.

Camping la Ferme de Castellane
Located in the village of Castellane, this campsite is set on a river bank with a popular table tennis table as well as a boules pitch.
There are barbecue facilities available at the property and a heated swimming pool as well as a laundrette. You’ve also got a children’s playground available if you want to keep your children entertained.
The centre of Castellane is 1.4 miles from the campsite and it is at the starting point of the GR4 hiking path and there is a free, private parking available on site.

Camping Puits de L'Auture
Located in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer with Grande Cote Beach and Concie Beach nearby, Camping Le Puits de l'Auture provides accommodation with free private parking.
The campsite includes a children's playground and after a day of hiking, cycling or fishing, guests can relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area.
The Platin Beach is 0.7 miles from the campsite, so you’ve got plenty of opportunity for sunbathing, surfing and ice cream by the sea.
