How to get ready for your 2023 camping trips
It’s the time of year when we’re all booked and busy prepping for Christmas. Whilst this can be quite overwhelming, you can sit back, relax and start thinking about booking some of your 2023 camping trips so you have something to look forwards to going into the new year. We’ve put together a guide on how you can start preparing for your 2023 trips right now, just keep reading!...
Storing your tent/awning:
We recommend getting your tents out and preparing them to be stored so that you aren’t surprised by dampness and mould when you embark on your next adventure. To prevent this from happening, we have broken down the steps to properly storing your tent or awning.
1. Wipe down the interior and exterior of the tent with clean water
2. Wipe down with a dry cloth and leave to air and fully dry for a few hours. Don’t roll or store your tent/ awning until the interior and exterior are fully dry!
3. Ensure the tent is stored in a dry, sheltered area to prevent mould from forming on the bag whilst stored.
If looking to buy a new tent/ awning, do it at the right time:
If you are looking to buy a new tent or awning, this is the best time of year to purchase one due to all the boxing day, warehouse clearance, and new year sales that will be taking place. It’s also important to buy your new tent/ awning well before you hope to go away to ensure that it is fit for you and your family. Below we have listed some of our favourite tents/ awnings that would be perfect for your next outdoor adventure.
